Douglas County has a Senior Services Homemaker Program this is is provided to individuals under the age of 60 with a physical disability or age 60 and older. Qualified individuals are unable to perform some or all of their household chores due to identified functional limitations and because they are in need of a support system to provide essential homemaker services. Homemaker services are individualized based on the needs of the individuals to remain independent in their homes.
