The Valley Bar was a famous, historic hangout located at the corner of Highway 88 and Centerville Road in the Carson Valley. The main structure originally stood in Virginia City, Nevada. Workers carefully moved the historic wooden building to Centerville in the early 1930s. It is now a memory. Sadly, an electrical fire destroyed the building in March 2006, and it was torn down that same year.
